Who’s Behind Life Lifting?

Get To Know Jess

Some providers focus on ticking the right boxes.
Life Lifting was built on something different: truth, kindness, and the quiet power of doing what works.

This isn’t about big words or empty promises.
It is about showing up, listening harder, and staying present through all the small wins and hard days.

Hi, I'm Jess. I'm a mum, a listener, and someone who doesn’t give up easily.

I started Life Lifting Australia to give people the kind of support I wish was more common: honest, respectful, flexible, and built around real life.

The Story That Started It All

Before starting Life Lifting, I worked for other providers.

I saw what happens when staff are rushed, plans are copied from someone else, and people feel more like numbers than humans.

That didn’t sit right with me.

So I did things differently.

Now, every person who joins Life Lifting gets the care I would want for my own family.

We break goals into clear steps. We check in often. And we do not leave people stuck with support that does not feel like a good fit.

Support That Fits Real Life

Your NDIS plan matters, but your personal goals matter just as much.

That’s why we take the time to ask what you want to work towards.

What do you want life to look like in three months? What has been hard lately?

What is one thing that would make your week easier?

We use that to shape the way we support you.

And we adjust as we go. Life does not stay still, and support needs to grow with you.

A Team That Cares Like You Do

Every support worker here brings something unique.

One might be amazing with cooking and teaching daily routines.

Another might be calm, soft-spoken, and great with emotional regulation.

We match you with people who actually suit your personality, goals, and preferences.

You will never be left with someone who does not feel right.

If something is off, we fix it quickly and kindly.

We take staff training seriously, not just on paper.

What We Offer

(And What We Do Not)

We are really clear about what we do best. That means we offer:

  • Daily life assistance, including hoist support and personal care
  • Domestic support like cooking, laundry, and cleaning
  • Confidence-building in the community, starting with quiet, low-pressure outings
  • Life transitions like settling into a new home or starting work
  • Skill-building programs, especially over school holidays
  • Transport for appointments and social activities

We are not set up for nursing, plan management, or support coordination. If that is what you are after, we are happy to help you find someone great who offers it.

Big Dreams, Everyday Actions

“ Yes, I have long-term dreams. One day, I would love to build a space where autistic children and adults can feel free, safe, and included.

A sensory-friendly outdoor playground where no one has to mask or hide. For now, I focus on the small, meaningful things.

Like helping a child feel proud after dressing themselves for the first time.

Or supporting someone through the nerves of their first job interview. That is where change starts. “
